hell yeah
I finally did it. I ran the whole 5k.
I never in my wildest dreams would have thought that I could run 1 mile, let alone 3.1
My wife asked me if I felt that runners endorphine rush that they talk about. I must have looked at her like she had bugs crawling out of her nose. I said hell no, I'm freaking tired. But I'm also very happy that I am now able to cross off one of the to do items from my list!!!!!!!!!

Way to go man. I know exactly what you are saying about the runners high. Not me - just beat. I did experience it once where I just wanted to keep going and no matter how fast or far I ran I didn't get tired.
Congrats on crossing it off the list but why stop there? Again, way to go.
