This Brit Dude Makes Me (Most Of Us?) Look Like Lazy Bums

 Did anyone see that 101-year-old Brit guy on the news this a.m. (I think it was CBS) who is still working and is now getting ready to run his first marathon?  The article said he was the oldest person to ever participate in a marathon.  He sure looked in good shape, even though he smokes and drinksI think it said 8 pints a day of ale . His job since he was 15 was apparently to hand wash the vehicles of some government agency (good aerobic exercise, admittedly!) ..     Wow .. what a story (and a fella)!  Now we got NO excuse not to go for it!

Saw it this morning!  Makes me feel like a bum. That guy looks incredible.  How 'bout stopping during the marathon for a beer break!!!

  lol  ..  I thought it was so funny that the pub he frequents opens early just for him to come in so he can drink his first pint of the day there ..  like he has every day for the last ump-teen years ..   talk about a good customer!    btw, I see you had surgery here with Dr. B. just a couple of weeks ago ..  How are you doing?

I saw that this morning . I work swing shift, and try to watch the news from time to time as I get ready.   Nick
