This is the first time in a long time that I stopped in on the men's board. What a great place to get support. I'm not doing all that well but I guess that is the way it is supposed to be. I have had 4 surgeries now including gall bladder. Started in 1999, Revised in 2003 and re revised due to a hole in the stomach in 2004. I am currently at 350 from a high weight of 560 and a low weight of 299. I still have sleep apnea and lymphadema in my leg and suffer from depression. I am on effexor which is helping the depression right now. I used to teach but lost those jobs due to the depression and the sleep apnea. I can most things but feel like my pouch is smaller than before. I won't be able to do surgery again as my insurance has an exclusion. I thought about the stomaphyx. Well I wanted to jump in  and intro myself. I'll be aroound more as it is neat to talk about men's issue and get a man's perspective. Thanks

Welcome to the Men's Forum.  Great bunch of guys here with a lot of knowledge.  Ask any question and I am sure you will get a straight answer.  It is very nice to meet you.

Glad to see your post Jack.  I also look forward to reading your jokes.  You're a great guy and I know you can help others as well as benefit from the support of the men on this site.  You'll also find that most of us don't ever go back to the Main Forum once we've found this one.  My journey's a lot like your's minus several surgeries.  I'm glad to see that you do have some health ins despite your recent job history.  Bob
