Two Year Re-Birth and I Forgot

Gentlemen, I am so embarrassed!!  You guys will have to forgive me as it’s been awhile since I’ve posted.

I got a "canned" email from ObesityHelp congratulating me on my second re-birth anniversary (April 6, 2006), and it wasn’t until I read it that I realized that its already been two years.  Boy, does time every go fast after WLS.  OH wanted me to update my profile to let others know what life is like after WLS.  It’s just that I’ve been too busy doing "fun stuff" to think about WLS much anymore.  Well, all I can say is that "Life is Grand!"

Nowadays I spend most of my leisure time on my feet doing the fun things that I’ve always wanted to do but couldn’t a couple of years ago.  I don’t have much time to spend on the computer anymore.  I’m too busy with being a Grandpa, gardening, hunting, fishing, woodworking, dog training, horse training, maple syrup making, "honey-do" projects; and the list goes on and on.  There just aren't enough hours in the day or days in the week anymore.  Besides, I still have to go to work Monday through Friday so I can bring home a paycheck.

I will do my best to visit the Men’s Forum more often and update my profile as I do want to support all of you that are just starting out on your journey.  I know it is a rough path to take, but the journey is well worth it.

Before I close; from the bottom of my heart I want to thank all of the "old-timers" that were there for me when I was starting my journey.  You guys know who you are.

I guess I’m an "old timer" now too.

May Your Lantern Burn Bright,
Paul

Hey Paul,  Great to hear from you buddy. Once I lost the weight, I too am busy doing fun things. I do stop by on Sunday's to chime in on the Weigh In though. I just like typing that I weigh 213 now. I never in a million years thought I would drop that low. I'm so thankful for the second chance WLS has given me/us. See you around. Don't be a stranger! Ronnie

Hi Paul, It is good to hear from you.   I wondered how you were doing.   I agree that life is grand!  I don't post as often as I used to either, because I'm busy doing all the things I missed doing before WLS. Stop by once in awhile and let us know how things are going.
Jim

You and many oldtimers helped me along the way...both pre op and post op.  It's funny how the new guys soon become the oldtimers...Brian

Hey Paul, Nice to hear from you! You know, we only live about 10-15 mile away, but I've never met you. We'll have to change that this summer. Good to hear things are going well. Doug
