losing weight and inches, loose skin ??????
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
I've been fortunate that compared to some that have lost the amount of weight that I have (250+ pounds) I don't have much loose skin. I have some loose skin around my belly and I'm afflicted with saggy old man ass but other than that I'm good to go. I attribute that to working out religiously, eating lots of protein and rubbing fresh baby seal blood all over my midsection. Just kidding about the baby seals of course. :) There's not much you can do to retain the elasticity of your skin. It's either going to snap back or it won't. You can HELP by exercising and lifting weights. Replacing the fat with muscle is always a good thing.
Now that you HAVE all the loose skin what do you do with it, especially the loose skin around your belly which I'm sure that most of us that have lost 100+ pounds have. Two words... Under Armor. Buy Under Armor (or your favorite off brand) compression clothing and they will do wonders. I wear them as undershirts for work and of course when I work out. It keeps everything nice and compresses and stops my loose belly skin from flopping around when I run. The trick is to buy the compression garments a size smaller than you normally wear. So if you wear a XL t-shirt, buy a large top.
Hope that helps and good luck on your journey!

Thanks for the responses guys. I guess I will see what the 'ol body does on its own. I also am going to start on some weight/resistance training. My Surgeon just recently gave me the go ahead with no restrictions although she did not mention anything about ab work. How long should a person wait to do any crunches etc... after having laproscopic RNY? Thanks again for any advice. Steve
