Saw Bob L today at Vandy

I had all of my last pre-op appointments at Vandy today -
nutritionist, Dr. Richards, & pre-admission lab work.  Afterwards, we stopped in to check on Bob L.  He was doing great and was waiting to be released and go home.  Said he has no real pain now and has been sippin and walkin, sippin and walkin.   

I must say that seeing how awesome he has done and what a great attitude he has gave me quite a boost. I sure hope I do as well as he has.  Congrats to you my friend!!  I know you are gonna continue to do great!!

I enjoyed you guys stopping by yesterday, got out of there about 1:00, home about 2:30. Alls good first thing I tried to drink was chicken bullion, which I like but the smell about gaged me, dran**** tea and a protein bullet instead, no problem. Go back Monday for staple removal, had no drains to worry about nor a catheter, pretty lucky. Got up at 3:00 to take med's and walk a little, sip, and go back to bed. It's raining cats & dogs great sleeping weather! Thanks to all of you for your concern! Bob
