Thursday fitness fun fact
Makes me kinda wonder about how much Crystal Light type products I'm drinking these days. But the thought of getting on the outside of 100 oz of water per day without the benefit of flavors doesn't thrill me. Back when I had a coke addiction, I'd try to reform by drinking the diet stuff, but after a week or so my brain would be sick and tired of being pumpfaked and I would relapse. I wonder if I could've ever broken the addiction had I gone straight to water and Chrystal Light rather than diet sodas. I'm about 4.5 months without a soda of any kind right now and don't really miss it. Pre-op, I figured that would be my heaviest burden.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
Ditto, ditto. I look forward to them every day and read all of them. It is usually great information. I am sorry for not saying so sooner. Your effort is very much appreciated on this end.
On another note, my oldest daughter was very involved with a guy who was an Ultra Cyclist. In fact, he has won the BMB and the Race Across Oregon. As a family, we got involved in the whole crew thing as well as learning a lot. I read your biking stuff with a lot of interest as it is all very familiar to me.
I just cleaned up my bike yesterday and am planning to ride now for the first time in at least 5 years. Please keep writing.
Thanks again,
Lou

Really enjoying the post, Boner. I'm just too lazy to type. Hope you'll continue.
I've pretty much cut the SF stuff and perhaps as a result, don't crave sweets or other junk that often. Of course, I also allow two days a week for eating sweets and junk. The rest of the time I'm really tough with myself.
Best Wishes,
Dave

Hey Boner,
Just wanted to say I read your posts too. In fact it's part of my daily internet ritual now. Check email, check stocks, read news, read the Fitness Fun Fact for the day, etc...
Sorry I don't always chime in either but I definitely am reading them. And I share them with family too like others here.
Thanks again,
Brian.
