LOST INTEREST IN FOOD
there's a saying. when you're in a ditch, stop digging. you're right. time to reset. i picked up some choc milk on my way home tonight and had a shake. the hell with the calories. besides, the fat is good for you. for some reason store bought choc milk makes the protein taste better. my doc kept after me to eat real food and not shakes. so i'm going to try both. i also got a burrito! i barely got it down. so between that and my shake it's a breakthrough today! thanks again for the support bro.....carbonblob
I've tried all the bars...The one I have gone back to is Rockin Roll Bar from Labrada. I get it at The Vitamin Shoppe. Whey and soy protein, peanuts...290 calories and 21 g of protein. They are the best at hiding the whey taste we can't stand (or have gotten tired over the years with). Good luck...stay on top of it with your doctor. Brian
Wow, sorry to hear about the difficulty, CB. Might have something to do with the weather and being busy.
I've been eating chicken or tuna salad, processed well in a food processor, but I still feel that nothing works like whey protein. Does that make you sick if you make it into a syrup and gulp it? If you can, the powdered stuff would be best.
I still get at least two shakes a day.
