I can finally feel my pouch.

I've spent the last 4 months guessing as to whether I was full or not. I don't vomit. I don't foam. And I had no sensations whatsoever as to whether my pouch had anything in it or not. Yesterday evening, I fixed a little soft taco with a multi-grain tortilla, about 3oz of thinly sliced ribeye, some tomato chunks and shreded lettuce, and some chili verde sauce. I've kinda gotten back into the habit of taking big bites and eating to fast. About 5 bites and 5 minutes later supper was over. I was sitting around trying to motivate myself to go work on my bathroom and all of a sudden I notice that my stomach hurts. Pretty bad too. And then it occurred to me that it was my pouch. First time I heard anything from it. The pain subsided eventually. So I'm drinking a bottle of water last night before I go to bed and, lo and behold, when I take too big a swallow I start feeling that same discomfort again. I'm gonna have to do a little retraining on my eating and drinking which is probably a good thing for me.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

Oh yea, I just felt that feeling too.  I was eating the other night, and I got pissed about something (can't even remember what it was now) any how I swallowed too quickly and this big chunk of food went down. That's some negative reinforcement for you.  I felt like someone had stabbed me in the gut. It was instant feedback and I probably won't be doing that again.  Going to make sure I take smaller bites to begin with, just in case. Scott

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!

Welcome to my world now fellas.  I was just like you two guys about a week and a half ago and wham, one night I had the exact same experience you two did.  That pain cuts like a dam knife and you definitely don't want to experience that again anytime too soon.  Supper for me equals about 5 bites of anything and I stop no matter what.  5 bites is my limit right now.  If I even think about shoving in another bite or two - I get that chest pain - no way in hell do I want that.  Anyway, welcome to the fullness club JFish.   Taz
