got approval and a date

Hi everyone have not posted in a while. i finally got my approval from my insurance, and also got my date for my verticle sleeve i will go in April 1st, 2008 it has been a long journay and weighting, i started this process December 29, 2006. I cant weight to get this done, am a little scared and worried never have had surgery or been given anestetic. I hope all goes well like all the stories i have read on here. i am looking for an angel and would like for everyone to pray for me while in the hospital. I am quite large 470# and 5'8" tall hope there will not be any complications, i have read alot on here about the gastric bypass but not much on the verticle sleeve just guess not many of this procedure has been done on men, was in the site on here for this type of procedure but it is almost all ladies that have it done, so i hope some of you can tell me some stuff about this before i go in and what to expect. well got to get ready for bed have to work will check back and write more tomarrow. scott (osuati)

Hey Scott, congrats on your approval and getting a date. April 1st will be here before you know it. I don't know much about the surgery you are going to have ( I had RNY ) so I can't help much there. But I will pray for you and I wish you the very best. Your seat on the Loser's Bench is waiting for you!!
