Spring has sprung: We all need a little sunshine in our lives
According to Health & Wellbeing, sunshine doesn't just lift your mood - it can help prevent all kinds of illnesses. The health value of sunlight, lauded by the ancient Greeks and Romans, has been largely eclipsed in recent years by concerns about skin cancer. But while this concern is very real, evidence has emerged that moderate amounts of exposure to the sun is essential since vitamin D sufficiency is required for optimal health. So how can getting out in the sun help us physically?
IT CAN SPEED RECOVERY
IT PREVENTS DEPRESSION
IT CAN PROTECT AGAINST CERTAIN KINDS OF CANCER
IT'S GOOD FOR YOUR BONES
IT IMPROVES FERTILITY (what I refer to as the "stud-bull" affect)
Great job, NIck. We had picture-perfect riding weather weather here in Colorado yesterday and I went out on a nice bike ride myself. Chugged out a 20 miler also. You're right....to ride 20 miles is a flippin' miracle especially when you consider I used to start sweating and breathing hard after walking 100 feet. LIFE IS GOOD!!
