It's FINALLY here

Well I can't believe it. Surgery is today. It is 4:45am and my ride to the hospital will be here in 30 minutes. I'm all packed and all set to go. I need to be at the hospital at 6am for surgery at 7:30am. I started this journey 25 months ago and now its here. My head is swirling with emotions as I realize, yes this day has finally arrived. Bring it on, I'm ready for my new life and the adventures and challenges it brings. I need to say a big THANK YOU to all the guys here on this board, I have learned alot these past 2 years, now its time to actually time to practice what I've learned. Well time for me to go finish getting ready. Discharge is sometime thursday, so I'll be posting my hospital experiences which hopefully will be good. May the surgeon's hands be steady and the scapel sharp.

By the time I am posting this you a probably out of surgery and doing well. So I will wish you an uneventful and super fast recovery. Get moving and keep sipping and hold on. pan head

Good luck, dude. A helpful hint for your hospital stay: nurses, especially the cute ones, appreciate it when you pinch their butts...

Best of luck Rich.  You are probably sucking up the good drugs in the ICU right now starting your journey.   It's gonna be better tommorrow and each oncoming day and before you know it you'll be down 100 pounds and living a happier and healthier life.
