FARTing in a new job
Well, this week was trully an amazing week for me (and I don't what to sound like someone posting on the girly board)...
A couple month ago, I received a call from a VP of a big company wanting my to join their company as a Regional Business Manager. I was happy with my actual job but, it was an offer I just couldn't resist. Well this week was my first week with them and it all started with a three days out-of-town conference. Like a lot of you guys, I did a list of things I wanted to do after getting surgery. I knocked down a few this week... Here are some of them...
- No needing a belt extension in an airplane, not sweating like a pig trying to fit in the seat...DONE
- Not feeling like everyone is looking at you when you enter a room because you are the largest one...DONE
- Meeting old friends, suppliers, or former colleagues and to see their reaction because of my weightloss...DONE
- Feeling confident enough to introduce yourself without the fear of beeing judged because of my weight... DONE
And the list goes on and on.... not bad for a first week at the office! By the way, I've been in the petroleum industry for the past 11 years, so I guess I can say there was plenty of GAS around this FART....
Thanks for the support.
