Such sad news. Looking over Scott's profile, I am glad to see that he had a chance to transform himself and the will to do so. I'll keep him (and Barb) in my prayers. Thanks, Boner, for letting us know.

That is too sad for words.  He had been through WLS and taken control of his life and was enjoying it to the fullest only to have it taken from him. That's just not right. He and his family are in my thoughts and prayers. If it was foul play, I know what they need to do to the azzhole that did it.

I'm stunned. Scott was one of my early inspirations to get into running. I really admired all of his success. Damn.

He was always on the boards early on in my journey, I remember. He was an inspiration and truly enjoyed life. He will be greatly missed.

This is very sad.  Scott was a valued member of this board and an inspiration to many of us.  I remember watching his progress and success with WLS.  When he changed his avatar, I hardly recognized him.  He looked great. I will keep him and his family in my prayers.

Wow - complete shock. My condolances go out to his family, and I hope the police find out what happened and hang whomever did this to him by thier privates.

Dang! I rememeber chatting with Scott as well as others as I was attempting to start my journey. This really bites!  From listening to his stories you could tell he enjoyed living life to its fullest.  I hope they catch the rat *******s that did this!

Along with all the other guys, I am so shocked!  Scott was one of the first here to welcome me.  I remember his funny side and his inspiration to me as he became a loser and began to live life again!  He will surely be missed.  I can relate to Barb's hurt and pain.  She and Scott's family will be in my prayers!  I am so sad today!

Terry, I didn’t get on my computer yesterday and missed this post entirely. Wow.  That’s such a blow.  Scott was Most changed by his WLS and had gotten his exercise and new health in high gear.  Nice man and just beginning to reap the rewards of his new life. What a tragedy. Thanks for the news. His passing leaves a hole in the world. Best Wishes- Dx
