unusual question
I THINK that the term "mons", when speaking of men, is used creatively to allude to the fatty/fleshy area around (engulfing?) the penis, by analogy to the "mons veneris" ["mound of Venus"] where a woman's clitoris and labia are, at least so I've heard; can a straight guy back me up here?
In other words, only women have "montes veneris " (pl.), but everyone should understand where he means when a obese or post-op WLS man refers to his "mons". I've always interpreted it as a bit of a tongue-in-cheek term when used to describe a guy's anatomy.
If a woman has a Mound of Venus, "mons veneris", I guess that a guy would have a Mound of Mars, "mons martius".

The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
