I found the original and follow-up link from Sherry so I could congratulate her.   I was laughing in the original thread that you got the smackdown for calling a woman a 'gal'.  WTF is up with that?   I thought 'gal' was acceptable.   Hell I woulda probably used the word 'chicks' which I often do in normal day to day conversation.  I guess that's wrong too.  Sheesh!

And THAT is the reason that I try to stay away from the tunatown board.

So, unless I'm missing a guess here, Miss Heidi would probably find the label  "****" to be unacceptable as well. Although I find that that particular slur fits most double x's who insist on spelling it womyn pretty damned well.
