Last Pre-op appointment

I had my last pre-op appointment this morning.  Things went Great.  Found out some interesting things about the way that Dr. DeWitt handles the operation. No Catheter!! That made the day long appointment worth going to.  Also no Swallow test.  Apparently while you are still under they use a tube ind inject blue dye into the pouch and look for leaks.  Apparently the reason they do it that way is to decrease the amount of stomach discomfort and  post operative discomfort.  Looks like they have had very good success using this method.  Biggest bummer. No Sex for Two to Four weeks. Have a great day. Randy ps.  Any volunteers for a wingman.

I wondered why I didn't remember this catheter everyone keeps talking about.  I guess I wasn't listening as closely as you.   I remember the lack of a swallow test.

I also didn't hear the no sex rule, though unfortunately, other cir****tances in my life insured that I followed it anyway.
