A quick reminder about salt...
Yes, we know to much salt is bad for you. Yet I want to remind recent WLS people that since you are sip sip sipping away and are eating less processed foods, you may need a small amount of salt in your diet. You are peeing alot of the sodium out of your system. I am not saying to go hog wild. Just add a pinch of salt to your foods. With summer coming up you may need to watch this area. We sometimes will see low blood pressure on guys who normally would have high number after WLS. The salt may help. Brian
While I'm FAR from an athlete....
My pcp said that I should see if I like Gatorade - it has ALL the items that are needed and with our reduced absorbtion rates, would be a plus to take on a regular basis.
So I drink a 500ml bottle every couple of days....and no longer take many other items as it helps in it's own right too...
Oh, flavours....I like the plain jane regular one, but there's like dozens to try...
