3 Month progress pic... yes, being a compliment Ho!.. and a FART!
Wow, what a difference! Congratulations! And you DO look a lot taller. I always believed that I was 5'5" ever since high school, and I never thought that I had added inches to my height to convince myself that I was taller. But at my initial weigh-in, they measured me, and I was 5'3"!!! I'm sorry, but when you're my height, every inch counts. I'm hoping/expecting that I'll recover an inch or two as I lose more weight and my spine has a chance to stretch back. What does everyone say here: "50 pounds equals an inch"?? Sorry, wrong inch!
I appreciate what you're saying about walking. The issue isn't just the weight, it's the distorted gait that all that extra fat has forced us into. As we lose pounds, we not only have less weight to carry, but we also gradually recover a more natural and efficient way of standing and walking. That's just what your wife noticed in your B&A pics and also what you noticed in your successful walk!
BTW, we had our surgeries the same day.

Thanks Steve! Yes, I definately notice a difference in my walking already. Of course a lot of my problems have been the nerve damage which caused my partial paralysis. I've been shuffling around the past several months. I'm finally starting to be able to 'heel and toe' it along like normal... I still need the cane for that little extra balance, but I think it will be gone long. Just went and renewed my handicapped parking placard... last one was for 5 years... doc only made this one for 6 months!
I questioned it, and apparently he thinks I'm improving fast enough that I won't need it anymore!
Cool by me!
