Well on my way...
Yesterday I had my one-on-one consult with my Kaiser surgeon and nutritionist. It went well, the surgeon gave me a pre-op goal weight. I get the feeling with Kaiser that they are gonna do the surgery for anyone that can accomplish the relatively easy goals they set for you. I have not experienced any of the "hoops" that have heard some insurers put you through. She pretty much said, lose a little more weight, get some blood tests then we'll schedule you for surgery. It is exciting and now that I have a clear goal to work for I will be able to step up my motivation and get the job done. Thanks to all of you here for your great stories and motivation.
