If your surgeon won't help you...find another surgeon. I found my surgeon because someone posted about him fixing a RNY disaster (apparently the origional surgeon had messed up..and left the person in a really bad situation) that they had gotten in CT. He's known for fixing other surgeons messes. If your surgeon is refusing to look at your pouch..then it's time to move on. Enough surgeons do the RNY to find one tht will give you proper after care.

Depending on the wings, that can be a lot of calories. Hooters wings have about 100 calories each. 8 would be 800. Three meals like that a day would be 2400. Add in 900 calories from side dishes, snacks, and drinks (not hard to do), and you're at 3300. Average 3300, and most men won't reach a normal weight.
Like the other guys, I recommend Fitday. I also recommend Dietfacts.com, which has a big database of other foods (packaged foods and restaurant dishes especially) that can be imported into Fitday with just a couple clicks.
I personally have easily gotten over 3000 calories some days. The good news is thanks to the assist from RNY, moderate (not drastic) changes can get you from 3300 to 2300. If you'd eaten 8 ounces of salmon instead of 8 wings (about the same volume of food, maybe more), that would only be about 300 calories. Do that 3 times a day and add the extra 900 and you're only at 1800, way short of your needs. Or maybe you can keep eating the wings if you munch on carrots instead of crackers. The mere act of writing down what you eat can reduce your intake without much additional effort. Seeing your problem areas can help you make better decisions without being hungry or unsatisfied.
