****ty Question
Okay guys, do share. For those of you that can remember, some of you had surgery sometime back. For recently operated on RNY patients, how long did it take for your stools to return to normal color. Now I realize this is a loaded question
. What I am experiencing, and based on my wealth of medical knowledge, I am having black stools, which is a by product of the blood getting into the system (small intestines where they cut, as well as the stomach area - at least this is what I hope is going on). I have not seen any bright blood at all. How long did it take for your ****ty poo to get right? I see the doctor this Friday and if it has not returned to a more normal color (as normal as normal can be) - I guess I will get him to further investigate. Any advice/experiences would be helpful. Hey Taz....
it's going to take a little more time....remember there is a difference between color and tarry....you are prob taking an iron supplement...and that will turn your poo black....that is different from tarry....also....your diet has not returned to normal....you are prob still on mushy stuff....
great question, but I think you can be patient on this one...you doc will do a blood test soon, and that would give him more info...

Oh this is extremely serious business! I have a full-size chart on my bathroom wall, and keep a handy wallet size chart of this important tool in my wallet for "field diagnosis" when nature calls away from home..... to provide accurate entry into my daily **** journal.
I laminated my mobile copy, just in case it falls into the ****ter
