x-post How about a D.I.K. (aka Angels)

So I see all these board where they have "ANGELS". They are people that when a fellow board member goes in for surgery they will have one point of contact to let others on the board know  they made it through surgery, how they are feeling, and any other info they want passed on. My idea is a play on this but instead of being an "Angel" on the mens forum... We will be called a "D.I.K" (a Dedicated Information Keeper) Before you go into surgery you ask for a member of the mens forum or locker room to be a DIK for you. Your DIK will give you their # and or any other contact info and vice versa. You will give this info to the family or friend or your doctor to call/ email once the surgery is over. Please ask your local person to contact your DIK with the info of how the surgery went  and how you are doing. Your DIK will then post on the board your updated information to keep everyone on the board informed. So we are all not going... Has anyone talked to or heard from ______? I would like to find a few volunteer DIKs if I can find any.  I of course would be a DIK. How does everyone feel about this? good/ bad/ don't care. Any input or other thoughts or input?

I have natural DIK  tendencies as one can clearly ascertain from some of my previous posts. I think I would be a shoe-in for the job and would like to apply.  Doug

Could you please supply me with a urine sample for drug testing?... J/K I appreciate you volunteering for this. Now all we need to do is merge with AttyDallas post about people having surgery soon and get them to follow through with my ideas.

DIK is a good idea..when someone is close to you...mileage wise...they were considered Wingman.... russ

I probably won't see a lot of action since I'm pretty sure I'm the only one on this forum foolish enough to live so far north that its still colder than a witches tit.
