Dude! I think you are ready for the cover of Men's Fitness. I wish my skin would come back like that, but I'm afraid I'll need PS to make the flab go away. You are a motivation to us all, Dave. Damn it, and I was going to skip my crunches today. JP

Skip the crunches, JP. All six pack work is superficial do the ab wheel and a lot of other stuff to work the entire ab "corset" (all four sides) and the sixpack will come out naturally.

Good luck on the PS!

Thanks,

Dave

I thought Bruce Lee died.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

I think he did. I suspect the reason for the secrecy surrounding his death was that he accidentally hit himself in the head with the Numchucks.

That's just cruel, Dave! Truly cruel. I speak as a bird-armed man, of course, whining from envy and admiration. I guess the green and pink dumbells aren't cutting it. Time to move up to the 8-pounders! Seriously, you've a right to be proud and to rejoice.

Hi Doug,

Thanks, I'd totally recommend the NHE diet and the HIE exercise program (two books). He really designed an efficient program, that's designed to fit in with an athlete's existing training or cardio program. Every body part is covered in a system of rotation. Not only linear exercises like crunches, but also rotational exercises like leg extension.

Best Wishes,

Dave

dang .. no more excuses for me that I'm crappy looking just b/c I'm 46 anymore ..  &:-/)    but, doesn't that healthier Japanese diet and ambiance over there help you eat right?   I mean, if you were in the U.S., could you keep it up?  I often wish I could have stayed in Brazil for that same reason ..

No, there's plenty of Doritos, cheese, chocolate, ice cream here - it's everywhere. People just don't eat as many calories. I've chosen to buy healthier food that my wife previously almost never chose to buy. Not as many vending machines or people bringing donuts to everyone though. That is true.

Sweet.  Nice bit of sculpting there notDave! Success only comes before work in the dictionary.                                           -Vince Lombardi

Thanks, Joe!

Actually, no sculpting. Just working out for the minimal amount of time every day, doing mostly functional exercise, staying low to moderate carb 5 days a week and working on my running technique, which involves drills, stretch cords and sprinting. Then, lots of work on the core.

The "dictionary? I would settle for a spellcheck. And I go for days without speaking to a native speaker of English.

Best Wishes,

Dave
