I went shirtless today...

Funny related story here ..     Last summer when my Vit D. levels were running so low I was getting pretty desperate, I realized I needed some natural sunlight on the skin, but realized if I went shirtless in public I would be arrested for manaloupe exposure ..  &:-D)   So ...   I tried to figure out a way to get the sun without the public exposure (I own a condo, so doing it in a fenced backyard was not possible)    My simple solution was "lot tanning", in which I would park in a large commercial parking lot, put down my driver's window (all my windows are darkly tinted, btw) recline the seat back, lift my shirt .. and slowly change postiions in my seat for about 30 mins while listening to the radio/tape player ..  The perfect place to do that was the parking lot of my local Wal-Mart Super City ..     The second or third time I tried this though, I parked at the edge of the parking lot facing away from the street and began to do my thing ..  I kinda drifted off half-asleep after a few minutes, and the next thing I knew a local young cop - one who works evenings as a rent-a-cop at the store - had stopped on the passenger side of my car, walked around to the driver's side, stuck his head in the window and asked what was going on ..  I explained to him that I was just 'lot tanning" (didn't really explain it was for a medical reason) ..  He seemed to look at me kinda oddly, mumbled a question about why didn't I just do it at a swimming pool, and then turned around and left in a huff like he was angry about something (maybe b/c I wasn't breaking any laws ?)    btw, he never did say whether a passerby called in a complaint or a "concerned" call, or whether he just happened upon me by chance ..      who knows .. maybe I've started a new trend ..
