I think I FARTed
Went to Wally world with the wife last night.
I told her I want to look at jeans.
I haven't worn jeans in almost 12 years.
If you look at the pictures on my profile, you will notice I always wear baggies (thats what I call them, I make them myself) or sweats. You know, comfy clothes for fat people.
So I start looking around and find a 50x30 and a 48x30. So for starters WTF??? If you are fat you can't be tall?? I need a MINIMUM 32" inseam, and would be better if I could find a 34".
Anyway, I go try these on. The 50's are loose on me, the 48's fit, but are too short.
I went back and found a 46x32 full cut carpenter jeans and sumbicth, they fit great.
Last time I got class A pants at work (trousers, the type with the stripe down the side like troopers wear) I needed a 62" waist. Now comfortably wearing a 46".
Gonna keep hitting the gym (joined a local one yesterday) and shoot for getting into 38's by this summer.
W,
That is an awesome FART. I know how you must feel. As for myself when I started my journey I was wearing a tight and I mean TIGHT 44 waist because I refused to go up to a 46. I have dropped 84 pounds since starting my journey in June'07 and am in a comfortable fitting 36.
Keep shooting for the 38's. Congrats!!!! "Enjoy the Ride!"

Russ
I'm jealous ******* now. I'm still waiting for my 48's to fit comfortably. 52's are 'bout out the gate though. I hate to see them go. I bought them back when I had money to burn.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
Congrats Wolfie .
38's by summer ? Not out of the question at all .
At the rate your going you might be in 36's by the end of the summer ??
Keep up the cardio that burns the fat faster . Weight lifting will not burn as much , but you do need both. At this point you need more cardio though .
That will help a lot .
Thats why I started riding my bike ,to get the cardio I need .I now commute to work on my bike .Thats about 8 miles one way and almost a five hundred foot climb in elevation .( 480 Ft cilmb )
All this is weather permiting of course . I cant ride to work right now because of the snow , although it is melting back right now .But I work nights and the temp drops to low and you wind up with blac**** on the roads . I have gone down before , it doesent feel very good AT ALL .
I am hoping to do my first hundred miler this summer .
keep up the great work
Nick
