FART With Lumps

I figure a FART with LUMPS usually means a load of crap! Well the other day received my first DISALLOWED from my insurance. Resubmitted some paperwork for clarification, now wait and see.  Sense then having more test on my esophagus Surgeon saw something? Probably my gag reflex thats why I can't do prison.  Don't want to mess with the sacred FART but I figure a FART with Lumps can't be good news.. C' Ya Bob

Hopefully they will approve you this time Bob. I keep asking Eric when they are gonna submit mine to BCBS. Hopefully they will do it Monday. Hope the tests go well for ya too. Good luck Buddy!

I'm a bit confused by your terminology.  The only time I've heard disallowed used is when the insurance doesn't cover the surgery.  On your profile, you seem to indicate that your insurance does cover WLS.  Is there a problem with the type operation you want?   If you were denied, find out why.  You may want your doctors to list additonal comorbidities.  Heck, have them list anything wrong with you and have the insurance determine whether it's because of your obesity.   For example, my doctor listed my bi-polar condition as one of my comorbidities, but I would have had that genetic condition even if I had been thin. So, start the appeals process, but know what you are appealing and find out what you may need to win  your appeal.
