Well, its official, I have a surgery date. March 24 I will have open RNY

The paperwork was sent to Anthem last Friday and the surgeon's office got the approval on Tuesday. I think 3 days must be some kind of record! God I love having a state job, lol. I started this journey 2 years and 11 days ago after being at the lowest point in my life and now I am riding high and getting dizzy from the altitude. For so many years I have done for others, now its my turn to be good to me.There are sooo many people I need thank for their constant encouragement and support these past 2 years, mainly the guys on this board. Let the countdown begin!!!!!!

Congratulations. You were brave to pursue getting a better job with great health ins. Yes, working for the state will be good for you for the time being. Only you can decide how long you want to stay there. Hopefully, you'll be able to stay there until you retire.
