I haven't taken a bath in over 5 years. And that one was in a huge whirlpool type tub in a fancy hotel. I haven't taken a bath in a regular sized bath tub in probably 15 years. Why? To much damned work to get in and out of it.  I guess I ought to put "Taking a bath" on my list of goals although I do enjoy the quickness and convenience showering.

I guess the biggest one so far is dropping from 384 to below 205.  205 was special because it was the weight the military wanted me to stay below when i was in the service. (20 years ago)  Needless to say that number always will be stuck in my head after years of battling to stay under it.  Once I went 2.5 weeks on an apple and water a day.  for the last 2 dyas no water while working out like an animal.  Such found memories of my military days! My biggest FART to date is all the positive comments from my coworkers after loosing 84 pounds in 7 1/2 months.  At first some of them said that they were considering WLS but were affraid.  The continue by saying that they would watch me for two years and see what happens.  Now they are busting at the seams to get an appointment to explore their options. Im a little over 2 months out from surgery and Im sure I have a lot more farts to come but today I came homw from a whack Monday at work and my wife came up to me, gave me a hug and started crying. I asked her what was wrong and she said they were tears of Joy because it was the first time that she could remember that she could put her arms completely around me. That was nice. Enough of the mushy stuff though, another Fart was gettin hit on by some fine women at the clubs while I was in VEGAS! That was fun! LET EM RIP EVERYONE!!!

I'm 3 months out and haven't had what I would consider a huge FART yet, but all the little farts are gratifying in a way. I guess the biggest one I've had to date was last Friday afternoon. I was out walking on the street in my neighborhood, it was cold and windy, and I had on two pull-over style jackets and two pair of sweat bottoms, in addition to a toboggan and lined gloves. I'm a little pissed cause all the bulk feels like it's restricting me and keeping me from getting into a good long stride walking rythem. Coming down the street in the opposite direction in their vehicle are a lady who I work with and see almost daily, and her husband. I don't see her husband more than every couple of months or so, and don't know that I've seen him since the surgery. He stops in the middle of the street, rolls down his window, and says "Damn Fish, I didn't even recognize you!" I asked him, "Who did you think I was, Smurf?" referring to another obese guy we both know. He says, "Seriously man, your face is about half the size it used to be. You're gonna blow away." I told him that it would take a hell of a wind to blow my 360+ away. Then he asks, "We're going down to Garcia's to eat supper, you wanna go?" Sorry joker, trying to wreck my program by offering me some free Mexican food. Anyway, it was pretty cool to be dressed in that much bulky clothing and still be able to stop traffic.

There have been a lot of FARTS over the past 20 months and minus 240lbs. Here are a few of the best. Making love like a rockstar again.... yes it gets bigger!! Having folks tell me they are afraid to hike with me because I go to fast. Buying clothes at any damn store I want. From 4X Shirts 58 Pants to L shirts and 36 pants.  Finally being health again with no limitations or medications.  Just being a regular person again and not the biggest guy in the room all the time.

Having folks who have not seen me in a few years not recognize me at all.

Being able to go out and do the things I did when I was 30 years old.

Knowing that I will not die 25 years early from obesity. Fitting into my Mustang.... Regards,   Tim

I'm still pre-op and green with jealousy, but it is motivational to hear the accomplishments of the guys who went through this already. It keeps me on point to maintain what I am doing so I can get the surgery. I loved Russ'. To not have your own family recognize you is awesome!
Great job to all of you, keep it up!

Don't know if I can pin it down to just one. Out running my six year old grandson this past summer was big one. Him saying "POPPY YOU CAN RUN", and then he and I chasing after on another.  Going from a size 54 to 32, being able to wipe my ass with out throwing some thing out of socket. Being able to walk all day and run 4 miles.  I guess one of the biggest things is just feeling like doing stuff. By that I mean when I was 375+ once I got home from work and went through the struggle of taking off my boots, that was it I didn't want to have to do anything else. It sounds kind of silly now but if my wife wanted me to do something or my brother needed something it was all fine till I took off my boots, after that you might as well forget it. There are times now where I find my self getting side tracked because I will be doing one thing and see some thing else I need to do or have been putting off forever and will start to do that.  Oh yeah, the sex is great too! It was always great. The worst I ever had was wonderful. Now I have all this energy to put into that as well.  pan head

Putting my old belt around me, and my wife, and buckling it.
