Sorry, not to get back sooner….crazy “Catch-Up” week…… So, here’s a First Stab at- Tunica “Mixer” Itinerary: March 14th: Friday Mid-day to Afternoon- (Travel) Arrive by whatever means of travel. Meet up and Check in throughout mid-day. Drop-in "DeeDee & Dex Hospitality Suites" to get The "Who’s Where" info. (We’ll have Maps and such…) We are in The GoldStrike. http://www.goldstrike.com/index_flash.aspx The Sheraton and Horse Shoe Casino/Hotels Join to the GoldStrike, So any of those 3 will put you in the same "Hotel Complex" 5:-ish p.m. (First “Official” Meet-up) Meet in Lobby of "GoldStrike Hotel" Mingle and chat at Lobby Lounge / Bar till 6:ish 6:30 p.m. (Dinner) (For those who want to join in) Dinner onboard the Tunica Queen. River Boat Cruise Boards at- 6:30 p.m., DEPARTS PROMPTLY AT 7:00 p.m., AND RETURN AT 9:00 p.m. (Boarding passes include cruise, dinner, coffee or tea, and Live entertainment all for - $39.50 for adults and $37.50 for seniors and children. Advance reservations are required for all dinner cruises. Cancellations must be made by noon the day of your scheduled cruise. No Show Policy: Dinner reservations cancelled after 12 noon on the day of the cruise or "no shows" will be charged the full fee per person. We are leaving it up to individuals to make there own reservations for that, but will post the contact info and any info we get back on a “group discount” by Thursday.  We’re still haggling potential ‘group rates.’) Alternative - for those wanting to skip The River Boat Event- Dine with Family at one of the Local Restaurants- Cottonwoods Clubhouse Restaurant, Delta Blues Cafe, Grand Buffet, Grand Replays, LB's Steakhouse, or Murano's- (all located within the Casino Resort) or venture out to other Near-By-Restaurants and "Re-Group" with other Quixers Later… 9:30-ish p.m. (Hang-Out Time) Re-Group Small Groups- …Option 1) After Diner Coffee and chat at the "Java Grande" and then retire to the "Hospitality Suite" around 10:30 -to Hang out and Chat till Mid-night-ish. …Option 2) After Diner Drinks and chat at the "Grand Replays Sports Bar" and then retire to the "Hospitality Suite" around 10:30 -to Hang out and Chat till Mid-night-ish. …Option 3) On your own or in a pack, try your luck at the casino, then join others in "Hospitality Suite" till Mid-Night-ish. …Option 4) Late night Indoor pool swim / Jacuzzi with Friends, Family and Kids! Mid-Night-ish (for you Real Night Owls) One last stop at or "The Delta Blues Café" for a Night-Cap. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Tunica "Mixer" Itinerary: March 15th: Saturday 7:00 a.m. till 8:00-ish (Early-Birds Options!) Smaller Groups-Meet in the Lobby of the Goldstrike for… …Option 1) A 30 minute Walk around the Grounds. (or treadmills in the Hotel Gym) Followed by "Coffee Talk" at the "Java Grande." Could Opt for a Morning run if enough are interested. …Option 2) Straight to the "Coffee Talk" at the "Java Grande" to be joined by others soon. 8:30 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. Breakfast Smaller Groups-Arrange "Meet-up Plans" night before… …Option 1) Liter Fare at one of the coffee shops like "Java Grande." *Dx Pick-…Option 2) Quick (5 minute) trip up the road to the "Blue & White Restaurant."* (My Favorite Pick) *Local establishment of True Southern Cuisine. Operating the same way it’s been doing things since opening day in 1937. Real Southern food at reasonable prices in a definitively non-casino atmosphere. 10:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. Breakout Groups- Arrange "Meet-up Plans" night before… Several different Options for all tastes- Some are headed in to Memphis to Graceland , And a couple of stops and lunch downtown.  Others plan a day of shopping, and others taking their kids to cool “kid friendly” stuff. Theirs even a “Golf & Spa contingency” in the works, but not definite. Others are staying for a bit of gambling and then heading in to meet up with the rest later in the day. Either for lunch, or prior to 5:30.

5:30 p.m. till 7:00 p.m. Sunset Toast! Gather for a "Refreshing Beverage" (or Coffee) at a place over looking sunset on the Mississippi River . Arranging for drinks at a place that looks out over the river to hang out and swap stories as the sun sets.  Sun setting on the river (Kodak moment) is the idea. 7:00-ish p.m. till 9:00 p.m. Group Dinner! Gather for Diner at - Rendezvous
