Saw a Number I haven't Seen in Years!

For many years, I didn't go to a doctor AT ALL, and I was too fat to weigh myself on a standard household scale.  The vast majority only go up to 300 lbs, and I think a few go to 350 lbs. Then, I went to weigh****chers about 6 years ago, and couldn't even weigh on their standard electronic scales, which went up to 440 lbs.  Had to use their one and only, old fashioned manual with the add-on weights.  Scared myself at 498 lbs. I lost a lot of weight, went to a doctor, got medicine for BP and diabetes, and felt a lot better.  Got down to 372 lbs.  Bought a really expensive, medical quality high capacity scale which goes up to 700 lbs.  Good investment. Then, same old story you all know so well.  Lost the enthusiasm, and went back up.  Last year, at my fattest since my last Weigh****chers days, I was 451. Forgot to weigh this morning.  Had breakfast, lunch, and lots of water today.  Just got on the scale, just to see.  370.5!  -1.5 from the lowest number I can remember being in the past 15 years.  I'm sure the last time I weighed this little was in 1992.   My weight loss at 2 months out has been a little slower than for some guys, but between the nausea, the weather, etc, I have been still struggling to eat enough and exercise enough.  But, I'm getting there, slow and sure.  Plus, to treat my stomach issues, I've had to give up my lasix for a while, and then I ballooned up 12 pounds of water gain.  I've lost 44 lbs from surgery date, and I've pretty much lost ALL of those pounds twice.  They come off, then I change meds per Dr. or cut out the lasix for a while, bloat up from water, and lose it all again.   I'm as happy as a clam, at least as happy as a clam who isn't headed down the assembly line at the Campbell's Soup plant! I hear you on the scale problem. There's only one scale in my town that goes over 350 and it's at the County Health Clinic, and it's unreliable as hell. I bought one at Walmart that said on the box that it was good to 400, but I haven't gotten anything from it but error messages yet. Oh well, I'll be under 350 some time next month and then there's a dozen scales I can use.  Congrats on the new low. Put on some rubber gloves, grab a big ol' handful of TP and wipe your ass. Cause I'm pretty sure what your describing is a FART.
