We Need An "Upcoming Surgeries List" Keeper

I just noticed that our forum does not have a "Upcoming Surgery List" sticky thread like the other major forums do ..  (?)   I think it would be a good idea ..  Any volunteers??? (George T.?)   Anyway, let's extend our good wishes, prayers, etc. for Phatzcat's (Eric's) upcoming RNY surgery here in Garland with Dr. Barker this Wednesday!

Dx used to do it. I'm not sure why he quit (or why he started, other than to be nice...), but I imagine it was quite a chore.

Paul, I used to keep a “Daily Count Down” on the main Board for a little over two years.  And a “Guys this week” thread here.  I passed the torch on to others. It would be a great thing to start back here. I included links so that folks could drop a line on their support pages. Example-  OldPost-"Monday's-Men!"

This was back before “Stickie Posts” that stayed at the top of the Board.

I'll give it a try ..  should I just do a recurring post each week, or try to get set up with a sticky post w. OH at the top?   how do you do the links to the surgery "good wish" pages?

Go to the person’s "Surgery Support Page" (there is usually a link for it on their profile, And then copy the code from the browser, and paste it into the message, Like this- http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/members/status.php? N=P1141402775

Then, if you get fancy, you can drop it in, and select it, and type over it With a specific text that tells what it is- Like this- Atty’s-Support-Page Try a few attempts and delete the ooop’es… Maybe contact OH to put it as one of those green "sticky posts" at the top of the page. I have no clue how that is accomplished. Member Services would be my guess. Best Wishes- Dx

where are these at?    I never heard of them until now ..         is there a secret passord or knock, or do we just submit a pic of the 'nads to gain entrance?   lol
