VEGAS Adivce???
I'm not a big gambler either so what I like to do is find a game (I'm usually there during the summer so it's baseball or WNBA for me) and put $10 on one team or the other and sit down and enjoy the game on the big screen in the sports book. Back in the old days that would've included a beer or six, but I guess that part of the fun is limited for us now. Of course that chicken ranch deal sounds OK too. I watched some screwy program on HBO about a *****house out somewhere near Vegas, and those chicks didn't look to bad.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
LOL, Yeah that was the Bunny ranch on HBO, some of the guys are throwing that around as an idea for one of the days we are out there, I dont mind either way, its all for the bachelor to get messed up and change his mind! Anyone got stories about drinking alcohol after surgery? I dont plan on having a drink yet but i was just curious, my doc said WLS patients are the cheapest dates out there .
Those places aren't exactly friendly to just hang out it. We took a buddy to the Mustang ranch outside of Reno several years ago. We were just going to sit around and drink while he was getting his business taken care of. Well if you don't mind $9.00 beers it guess it's ok, (and that was probably a 6 ounce beer). One of my friends went outside and got a news paper to read while we waited. They told him he couldn't bring it inside. They flat out told him there was 2 things he could do there (drinking & sex). So we ended up sitting out in the car waiting for our friend to finish.
If you do go to a buffet, eat the expensive stuff. Focus on the shrimp, crab, and lobster. You will at least feel like you got value for your money.
There are lots of things to do in Vegas now besides gambling. They have turned that place into a family vacation. There is an amusement park inside one of the hotels. Lots of shopping and golf!
Have fun

The first time you do something - It's going to be a personal record!
cool thanks for the input, that sounds kinda weak just waiting in the car like that, im sure we wont find any problem gettin into some kinda trouble tho. I've been to vegas usually about 1-2 times a year but just havent been there since I had surgery. So its like going for the first time, but I'll make sure to have some lobster like you said!
Here's an idea. The first time I went to Vegas, back in '98, I got food poisoning the first day there. I threw up and blew 40 wt out my ass all night long and still felt horrible the next morning. Being an advocate of "home remedies", I decided I was gonna sweat it out. Since it was early June it was already about 90 by 10:00 in the morning and I got my pathetic ass out on the strip. I started at Harrah's and walked all the way down to Circus Circus and turned around and walked all the way back down to Mandalay Bay and then up the other side back to Harrah's. I went in every Casino along the way just to have a look around. They're pretty much all the same by the way. By the time I got back 3-4 hours later, I was tired but not nauseated or cramping any more. I took an afternoon nap and was good to go that night. I probably went 10 miles or better on my little tour.
Long story short, the Vegas strip is a great place to get a bunch of walking in. Of course you gotta learn to say no to all the derelicts handing out brochures and ****

I went to Vegas to recoup about three weeks after surgery.... and had a great time. Of course, I was relaxing with my wife - and not trying to keep up with the young bucks.
There's a *****house out past Parumph with a regular bar down the street - you guys can hang out there while your bud gets his pole greased.
I've heard that the broads there are half-way decent, if you look at them through beer-goggles.
B ack in my single daze, II also heard that it would cost a couple C notes
to get your snake drained.
As mentioned above, the buffets in Vegas can be pretty good - but I'd shy away from munching the tuna-patties in Parumph.... they can be a little "less than fresh", shall we say
Downtown is my favorite... the Golden Nugget is nice and has a new pool pavillion, with lot's of B grade casinos in the vicinity for slummin'. Everything is close and within walking distance..... and you got the light show to boot.
Again, I would recommend that you take it easy with the party animals. Don't be afraid to check out for a few hours if you get tired or feeling woozy....
