The Sunday Weekly Weigh-in!
The Sunday Weekly Weigh-In
February 3rd!
Check-out the New location here on the "Locker Room Support Group Board" but same ole "Weigh-in."
Congratulations and Welcome to our New Guys.
For those of you headed in next week--Have the Greatest!
For those of you just home—
"Keep Sippin' tha****er, and Walkin' Bunches"- Hang in there,
And all of you "Livin' on Liquid only Pre-Op Diets!! Same thoughts-
It Does Get Easier/Different, Each Week!
... just hitting your first stall?
It happenes to many....
Scan back over the last months of this weekly post,
And you’ll get a fairly clear picture of the fact
that there isn’t a "Typical" progress,
Just massive, persistent, overwhelming - PROGRESS!
Yes, using the scales can make some crazy,
(Slower loss is Still Loss!)
-But-
Keeping track and forcing myself to "Watch It!"
Has been the "What works for me," for maintaining my loss.
I’ll eat, but know that I need to exercise a little bit more
If the numbers climb just a little.
That way,
I only make "Little" adjustments to my weekly routine.
If the "Scales Make You Discouraged?"
Then STAY OFF of Them!
But for those who Are weighing in-
Drum roll--------------------------------------
Hop your Azz up on the Scales!
How much have you lost?
Since Surgery?
Or in Pre-Op Diet?
And has the Scale moved this week for you?
If so, How Much?
My Starting Weight? – 385 +
All Time Low – 179
Me?-
184.5 -Saturday Night Weight....
I had hoped for better since I walked and ran more this month, but....
Still sitting in my "range" so no panic, just adjusting my intake a tiny bit next week...
So, What about YOU?
Keep It Up!!!
Best Wishes-

I'm one of those guys who does better if he keeps the scale out of sight. I've been eyeing 2/6/08 for about 3 wks now. 1) Because it's payday, and 2) cause I'm gonna get that scale off of the top of the fridge and weigh my ass, and 3) cause I'm gonna get that tape out of the top drawer and measure a few things. I'm hoping for somewhere in the 370's.
2nd consult: 10/31/2007 - 455lbs
Day of Surg: 11/26/2007 - 442lbs
1st post-op visit: 12/6/2007 - 426lbs
1/6/08: 386lbs I thought (but I found out the scale was bogus)
2nd post-op visit: 1/15/2008 - 395 lbs
Finished this week up at 12.25 miles. Need to go 16 next week.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
