Just for the record,..this little tidbit keeps me motivated in addition to al the good stuff,.... If I gain weight back,...there are plenty out they waiting for my failure, I couldn't do it, the surgery is a fraud, the process is bogus. I don't want to give them that pleasure.  I'd rather envision myself as a possible poster child for taking life by the horns and making a choice to extend and improve my quality of life, so I could be here to support my wife, kids, and friends.  When my time is up, it will be up and no surgery is going to stop that.  Though I came close to pushing myself into an early grave and taking a risk to have this surgery, it wasn't my time to check out and keep reminding myself to make the best of it for as long as I can.   What is that ole saying?  Something like: Work to change the things you can, try not to worry about the things you can't, and the wisdom to know the difference?? You sound better and I am gald for you. You have certainly come a long way and had much success on this experience.  I have appreaciated you posts over the last year. Rock on!
