Well my trip to the doc was successful I guess.  Between the two of us io beleive we discovered my glucose levels were way down.  They sent me for an ekg just in case.  (and I think to collect $ for the hospital)   I learned a valuable lesson.  After blood work get a copy of your report from the lab.  I had blood work done last week and it clearly stated on it "glucose...37 low critical"  Doc could not explain to me why no one had informed me of this or called but....it is what it is.  The scary thing about this is I had this test done during the middle of the day and I had eaten every thing I normally do on that day.  Doc and i discussed how i have to eat more frequently and get this checked more often. So those of u who guessed low glucose ur the Winners! For those of u guessed blood pressure that was a few months ago for me.  My doc was hesitant about taking me off blood pressure meds so i went a month or so getting dizzy everytime i stood up and pieriodically through the day.  Needless to say with my blood pressure meds my blood pressure was way low.  It is now normal when laying sitting and standing as I found out yesterday. Thanks for the advice guys as normal u were right on and u don't even require a co-pay. Jim D

Funny thing happened last night........after I read your first post I went home from work and was waiting on my wife to finish supper when all the sudden I started feeling dizzy, the sweat broke out on me, my eyes started to go dark and I got this roaring in my ears.  I truly thought I was going to pass out.  My wife checked my blood sugar and sure enough it was down to 32.  She gave me a wash cloth to wipe the sweat away and fed me some yogurt.  It took about an hour but finally I felt back to normal.  I don't actually have low blood sugar but this has happened to me a few times.  I am glad you are feeling much better and I hope everything continues to go well for you..  I believe my incident happened because I did not eat at my normal time.  So try to do as your doctor has said and eat more often.  Good Luck and again I am glad you are feeling better.

Jim, " I had blood work done last week and it clearly stated on it "glucose...37 low critical"  Doc could not explain to me why no one had informed me of this or called but....it is what it is. " I hope by eating more frequently, you have the strength to go down to the doc's office a Biotch-Slap a few sloppy med-folk. If my plumber screwed up with something that critical, I'd be putting signs in my yard to warn others. When it's a matter of such a critical health issue? Makes me want to go totally postal!! But, it does happen in the Medical practice.... Over worked folk on the bottom, And over paid folk on top. Glad you got a quick answer, and explaination. Hope the ekg report shows all AOK there. (Get a copy) Best Wishes- Dx
