Fluid intake post-op (1 week)
Your second paragraph is a little confusing. Which Monday are you going to go where? After reading it over, I think you are saying that you plan to go to work a week earlier than your doctor has told you. I strongly advise against that unless you get clearance from your doctor. He may give you that clearnce through a phone call, but I really think you should see him again before going back to work. Walk around some more. I know it's cold, so you may just want to walk around in a mall if you are getting too antsy. Has your doctor restricted body movements such as bending or twisting your torso? I assume you have limits on what weights you can lift. Don't exceed them. Staying home another week will give you more time to heal and gain strength throughout your whole body. One more thing, if you didn't have a flu shot this year, be careful in public because you are more vulnerable following you WLS just because your body is weaker.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
I ment I have a doc appointment this Monday in the late afternoon. It is at this meeting that the Doc will release me to work. I am thinking about just going to work Monday morning (not physical job) and just see the doctor after work. By then I will be 13 days post-op
Secondly, didn't think this was a female type post (which i can't stand) just a question.

Liquids do tend to "go right on through." You’ve guessed it dead on the money. As the swelling from surgery goes down, The pouch is handles more volume much easier. So yep, typical experience. Your urine going back to more clear is the result of less "Waste" in the system. Kepp getting in your vitamons and plenty of water> Urine will be bright from the vitamins but not ‘dark’ from waste and dead cell tissue being processed. Yes? Hang in there with the "stir crazies." It gets easier when you fold your life back into the mix. Congratulations on a smooth "take off." Keep it Up! Best Wishes- Dx
