When is a man considered balding... rather than bald??

I think George in Seinfeld brought up that issue.  He said "I am balding not bald!!"  So when is a guy bald?  Brian     PS I marked this Urgent Priority...the fate of the Western World rests on your answers!!!

Heh heh.  I gave up around three years ago when I caught myself trying to do a half-ass combover to make up for the missing hair in the middle.   I've been shaving ever since. 

A combover ha ha .     At least you stoped with the the combover though .       Me too , I just shave her down with a number 3 on the trimmer beard and all . Got tired of paying 10 dollars for a 3 dollar hair cut , know what I mean ?

I knew fairly early on that a combover wouldn't fool anyone so I ploppeed my butt in the seat of a local barber and told him to cut it all very short. He was trying to tell me that it would make me look bald because I was so thin on top. I told him "Yeah, I know but it's better to just let it shine than do one of those chessy combovers...they don't fool anyone."  I didn't really look that close at the guy before I sat in the chair and most of this conversation took place with him standing behind me. When I finally did get a good look at him, he had one of the worst combovers I've ever seen. Talk about being embarassed!
