We need -- and I mean NEED -- some men MODS here
Hmm....Paul said it best in a previous post. We need some of the guys here to "step forward" and ask if they can become MODs here for the Mens Forum....and I agree with Paul's list too of (I think) carbon, Dx, baja and I'd add boner and Tim too...
How does that idea sit with you all....and would you guys consider same?
I run like 6 forums already and once you get a MOD on the board, it's pretty easy work to operate the entire forum using their love and passion...so I'm pretty sure that OH would consider this.....
Guys....what's your thinking on this one?
Jim
Sounds like a good idea to me. I have been on this board for about four years now. Latley I have been getting the idea moderators dont exist anymore. Posts that used to get pulled are no longer.(main board) In the past the moderators used to get blamed for being clickish, taking sides and such. Well who know's? All I know is the estrogen is out of controll latley. Heck I dont know! all I do know is I cant stand the main board anymore. Lets just hope we can keep it out of the locker room.

We don't need moderators. When someone is given that authority, suppression of free speech begins. I don't want my posts edited, re-worded, or deleted by someone who decides that their judgement supercedes my own.
The answer to the problem is to ask everyone to ignore (even though they may need to bite their tongues pretty hard) the offending posts. Posters who get no response to their inquiries will generally go away. It really isn't very hard to change the channel or hit the off button.
My opnion only.

I'm still pretty new here, but here is my opinion (and yeah, I know what opinions are like! LOL) On other boards where there are moderators, the mods seem to get trigger-happy and delete or pull posts too soon, almost to the point of paranoia sometimes. Actually, if someone posts something and nobody responds, it sends a silent message that "we don't want to hear it here" and it will probably fade away. However, by letting the post remain, it does give those who want to a chance to respond privately. I think Paul did a good job with handling it on a recent post here.
Whatever the gang here wants is fine with me - just tryin to contribute my 2 pennies!
I agree with the need but I'm not the one to do it because of my basic lack of computer skills. I'm glad to see someone pulled a post that shouldn't have been here a couple days ago (as far as I know, no one responded to her). We've had a couple "Hot" treads that became too emotional. I admit that I may rile some of the guys here because I want to spread our message in a more genteel manner than some of you. I'm really not conservative; rather, I just have a different opinion on how to attract and not offend other men who need our support.
