Break out the Lysol
Hey Guys,
It's been just a little over 4 months since I had my RNY procedure. Last night my wife and I were at Target and I decided to pick up a pair of size 38 jeans. I wanted to see how close I was to being able to wear them. Much to my surprise - they fit, I damn near started to cry. When I finally made the decision to have WLS, I was wearing a size 48 pant and a 3XL shirt. Now I'm into a 38 jean and an XL shirt. I haven't been able to wear a 38 anything since I was in Jr. high back in the '70's. All I can say is "Thank God" for WLS.
Congrats.
But it is not about the number.
How is your health? Have the health problems you had prior to surgery disappeared or gotten easier to control? Did they leave with the size 48 pants, 3XL shirt? Did you FART those medical conditions away?
That is the payoff man! You are spending money on clothes that you would have been spending on medicine and doctors visits.
Celebrate the number, the life, the second chance.
How is your wife liking the "new you"?
Good luck to you and good health.
