This Is Why We Can't Post Freely On Here - Spies & Backstabbers

 I just ran across a very interesting post and thread (or two) ..  I did not see them originally b/c apparently the original posters had me on block after the recent blow-up on the Texas forum ..  I know guys on here have complained about violating the "rules", but I have to speak my mind on this, since it also involves some of our fellow M forum members who have seen fit to also violate some unspoken rules on here ..   By way of preface, apparently the lovable leader of our local support group saw fit to spy on this forum and cut & paste some of my past posts (no idea what she was doing watching here all that time) to make me look like some kind of stalker, troll, etc. on OH, the selected posts consisting mostly of my laments about the lack of fellow male attendance at support group meetings  ..   She apparently did this backstabbing in "retaliation" b/c of my post here a long time back in which I mentioned I found her attractive, but married ( a comment which used to be something people would consider flattering, not "stalking", in the days of old) ..  I also got on her bad side b/c I did not agree with her unilateral decision to make the first part of our group meetings follow a structured format in the future (which I mentioned to her in a PM) ... I also had defended myself to a bud of hers who flamed me not once but twice in posts ..    Instead of gender being thicker than (whatever), I find that at least two of my fellow Men's Forum posters posted "supportive" replies of the gal in the thread, after acting so friendly to me on here ..   One is Paul In Dallas and the other is GotAman    I'm just flabbergasted gentlemen.  I know you probalby won't see this post tnough, b/c you're both on block from now on.

I gotta tell you bro, for someone who complains so much about female drama, you sure bring plenty of it to this board. Remember, this is the Men's forum, not the Boy's forum. We should be above all the petty bickering and complaining that seems to embrace the other boards. Furthermore, Russ's handle is GoToMan, not GotAman. It's easy being disrespectful to a man when he is not standing in front of you. I consider any such behavior cowardly. Ben

Agreed   Paul  grow a pair   what others think about  ya    to hell with them.  The only person you have to be happy with is yourself.   We all enter into this endevor to get healthy and live longer.  Life is too friggin short to sweat  what others think or say.  There are many women out there for you to pick from, hell Dallas has some of the hottest  in america.   Look on plentyoffish.com   Lots of looking single women there. Rules is rules!  And like my post stated last week: NO F*CKING DRAMA!  DID I MENTION, NO F*CKING DRAMA! This is a time-honored tradition on this board!  PERIOD.  NO EXCEPTIONS!  If this crap continues members who truly need support will get fed up up and go elsewhere for support or go without it completely. Dude!? Drama, Drama, Drama!!! I've known (by way of their postings) Paul (the other Dallas Paul) and Russ (GotoMan) For quite some time.... I've disagreed with them I'm sure sometime along the way, But dam if they aren't some straight shooters! They've built quite a reputation of open honesty. Don't spend as much of your time building a reputation as a Drama Queen, pot-stirrer. Big Deep Cleansing Breath. Shake it off, and move on.... It's just words on a computer screen..... Got some info to share? Some experience that might help another Facing the same issues that you did a few months back? Got a question? A joke to share? Bring all of that here! I was prepared to go on a bit of a rant, but between CardsFan and Dx .. they said it all. The reason many of us, myself included, restricrt ourselves to the Men's board is to avoid this kind of horsecrap. Suck it up, be a man, and just let it go.  If you don't let yourself stress about this crap, you'll live longer. So - in short, grow a set and deal with things quietly - this isn't why the Men's Board is here.

Honeslty Paul, sometimes it's just better to let things go. Defintely not cool to mention Paul and Russ by name...they are both good guys and have been extremely supportive on this forum.  Perhaps now that it's out of your system, you should think about pulling this post? Scott

Paul since your an atty. I would think you are an intelligent guy. You should know by now that any thing you post on the internet may as well be written on a bill board for all to see. You should never write any thing here or any where else on the net that you don't want everyone in the world to read.  It really goes back to the old saying "never say anything behind a mans back that you wouldn't say to his face." If you have a problem with Paul or Russ then you should take it up with them and not bring it in here. To be perfectly honest I don't give a rats ass about all of this **** You shouldh't be bringing it here.  I read a poll years ago, it asked men what they wanted when they got home. It wasn't all the things you would think, it was piece and quit, NO DRAMA! Seems to be an on going theme I think.  pan head
