Guys and lurkers, I attended a WLS Conference in Richmond VA this weekend and Tim A hiked,...(well maybe he drove the mustang, both are just about as fast) from NC to the Conference. It was my pleasure to meet him and his significant other in the flesh and I just wanted to stay he is even more impressive in real life than on the Boards.  It was a really cool experience.  He wouln't let me touch the Mustang though,...only look at it from a distance. We gotta get a guy group gathering somewhere sometime.  That would be a rollicking side splitter of a get-together!  Gotta have DxE and CardsFan there to teach or lecture. You guys chew on that and let me know where we can eat the most beans and see who can fart the longest without stopping or some other quality cultured activity. Joe

Tim’s a Great Guy! (taller in real life) All of those folks I met in Lexington were awesome! Hope you didn’t get the chance to talk politics! Having Tim & "Colonel Sanders" Dave in the same room Is like being between two extreme magnetic poles. Little "mini-meet-ups" happen all the time….. It’s a Small world! Was this the David @ Goal event? Natalie (tink) and the Virginia bunch? I'd love to make it to one of those one day. (Photos!) Best Wishes- Dx

That would be the group.  We had the party animals to the wall flowers and everything inbetween even though we were only 40 or so in number.  We had some really good sessions and had to wing it some as an electrical pole transformer across the street fromt eh hotel blew Saturday morning and the hotel was without electricity until 10 a.m or so.  we were setting up and coordinating with vwendors and doing registration by available overcast sunlight on a snowy morning and flashlights.  Nat and Tigger and Dave were all darting around trying to decide were to move stuff and how to alter things to work on time.  It was crazy but they pulled it off to where we could laugh about it.  Then the power came on at 10:30-10:45, showtime was 11. We had a lot of fun with the 50s theme soc hop dinner and dance Saturday and they told us Sunday that formal attire has been requested so that will play into the theme for the next one, whenever that turns out to be. It was great. Meeting you at some point is still on my goal list of things to accomplish so don't go getting your schedule too crazy or get famous and move to NY or walk out in front of a truck or anything! I could be tempted into trying to organize a gathering unless I come to my senses in the mean time.  I guess I blew it when I didn't make it to Randall's Reunion in Luverne.  I even had reservations at the hotel and pulled out the week before. Tim did assure me of what a great guy you are and what a great time he had working with you when he videoed your WLS conference sessions.  Those are classics.

I had the opportunity to meet Tim last year in Lexington at the OH conference...he has a tremendous heart and remarkable drive to make the best of his WLS.  At that same conference was Dx, Dave Rigsby, Joe Wollett (where are ya Joe?), Earl Curry, and others.  It was a thrill to meet these folks face-to-face.  If someone would organize a Locker Room event, I'd certainly be there if the schedule allows! Damn Brothers you’re going to make me blush. It was really great to meet Joe and Dave in person. Susan and I were only able to make it for the dance and breakfast the next day. I did have a lot of fun hanging out with the Virginia group in the after hours suite. I think we had a bigger, crazier party at Dexington but this was a good time... It we do have a locker room reunion party my vote is for Vegas!! But I don't want to spend the time sitting around hotel conference rooms talking about my feeling; I would rather have an events driven trip. We could have a few discussions about exercise and nutrition but I would rather go whitewater rafting on the Colorado River . Maybe some early morning golf outing with lots of Starbucks for Dx and CF. I always wanted to try skydiving, who’s crazy enough to take the plunge? Maybe evening strolls around the Vegas strip and catch a few shows. I'm sure we can find a few other thinks to do for entertainment along the way. That's my idea of a Locker Room gathering. Regards, Tim

OK so there is Tims vote for some high adventure and anything worth doing is worth shooting the wad.  Got it So we have parachuting with a backpack, in Vegas witha stripper while DX gives us some materials to think about . How about we do an Ocean's 13 on a protein production corporate HQ?

My thoughts for a Men's Forum meeting.  I would love to see it in Vegas or a large city with easy access to airports and hotels.  Would love to see it connected to a pro sporting event.  Even a sportsmans gun and boat show for the guys who aren't into sports.  It should be a warm spot planned out many months in advance.  So any OH management lurkers...What do you say??  Are you ready to host a men's only conference?  Brian PS  You could even set up a booth at the sportsmans show about OH.

Gosh....YES! As a vegas visitor, I too concur lads.....we SHOULD have a LockerRoom convention there....and while the "white water rafting" has me a bit perturbed....I'd think that maybe as an alternative we could also have a "Mustang Ranch" seminar for those of us who like to be "on our backs" rather than "wearing a helmet" -- wait, maybe both?
