While I'm not ordinarily the one who feels the need to push the boundries of good taste or acceptable social practices, I'll admit that I'm an occasional flogger. And by occasional I mean bi-weekly. At least. Although at the moment I have both hands on the keyboard.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

I was a bit puzzled when I read your post because I thought it was in response to the post from 17hrs ago about possibly changing the name of our forum. However, you were helpful with the response you gave to that post so I figured it had to be something else.
I read the intervening posts and got to the one about the cysts. I guess that's what your post is about. Yes, these are prime topics for this forum. They're not even OT. I'd dare to say that anything having to do with Men and WLS can be discussed. We also welcome men who can't decide whether they want WLS and need a forum to talk about it. And, we welcome men who want WLS but can't get it for medical, financial, or family reasons. The conditions for these last 2 groups of men may change and they may be dealing with WLS at some time in the future. I say "We" welcome them but I can't imagine any of the men in our Forum not welcoming other men with these qualifications.
Yes, our Men's Forum may be know as the Locker room, but it's a locker room where the chatter in the locker room has a purpose: to support each other in dealing with WLS pre-op and post-op.
