When I fist started my WLS journey the posts I like the best were the "What are the things you want to do after you have lost the weight?" posts. Now with that being said let it be known that sex lots of sex is a givin ok!!!! so no need to list that.(well maybe a little) I have done almost everything on my list except the sea kayak. Everytime I go the sea is just too rough. The last time I went I spent all my extra money on a new tattoo. The funnest thing I have done was snorkle with sea turtles and my wife. I just love the water. Weather its in the river by our house or the ocean.  So what are some things you want to do? Or have done? I need some new Ideas. Peace, Derrick

I don't have any awesome TO DO's.  Sorry.  I already achieved my one and only, and that was just to get some self esteem and be proud of what I see inthe mirror.

I am glad that you are happy. I still hate to look in the mirror. Guess it's just a habbit from before. Have a great day, Derrick

i wanted to lift again and see results. so that worked out pretty good. i was surprised as a matter of fact. what i didn't think of and did by chance was running. now i have to run everyday! i think my only other goal was to look good in clothes and look like i did when i met my g/f over 20 years ago. i'm so glad she didn't dump me when i gained all that weight. people think she's got a new man now....lol. another byproduct was just feeling more confident about my appreance. i really didn't have all these goals i read about by the guys. i kept it simple. i guess i felt this might not work. so little by little, even after two years, i'm finding new things to do that i could not or would not do. so i'll be interested in this post for new ideas too. good post........carbonblob

I too never thought of my self as a runner. Hell the only thing I would even trot for was a beer. I had been running alot but stoped when I hurt my knee. So I lift and ride the bike now. The girlfriend sounds like a keeper. Congradulations on the great job! Derrick

That having lots and lots of sex thing sounds pretty damned cool. But I'm still planning on being married when I get down to my goal weight, so I don't know that that's a possibility. Maybe I'll jack off a lot more than I do now.
The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

I still have a long ways to go but I wanted to change the quality of my life.  Before surgery all I could do was work (if I made it through a whole day) and then come home and set in my recliner.  I kept looking at my wife and my daughter and I knew time was slipping away.  Since my surgery, life has improved dramatically.  I spend more time playing with my little girl and doing things with my wife and daughter.  My daughter and I actually fly remote controlled model airplanes together.  Also my wife and I have started walking together each evening.  So I don't have any big plans to jump out of an airplane or anything like that.  But my life has changed and I can honestly say I enjoy life a lot more now!!

I used to have back spazums at work and would have to throw my self on the floor untill it stoped. So I know what you mean. I too have taken up rc flying I have a piper cub and a blade cx2mini heli. I  got the real flight g4 simulator for christmas. It is probably the coolest thing ever....lol All I did was crash before. When I started on the sim I did the same things. Now I can fly and land. Will have to weight and see when the weather gets better to see if that translates into real life though. Great job, Derrick

The one thing I can't wait to do is get into an adult hockey league and play on an "A" team.  It's been 22 years since I played competitively.   My kid is 6 and he can outskate me (granted, he's pretty darn good, but he's still 6).  Now I don't want to ruin his self esteem, but when I'm at goal weight, I'm going to have one good day at the rink and blow his doors off!!!!   Then I'm going to join a team and post some videos! Also, I've become addicted to Treasure Hunters on Dish Network and it's put this idea in my head I may just be lucky enough to find some of the remaining 1733 Spanish Fleet.  Scuba is officially on the list!
