Attention Scott! How was the Disney Marathon?
Well, after a few plane delays, I made it home last night at about 8:00pm. I had no computer access while I was down there. I will have to rectify that for next year.
Anyway, It was awesome. I have not started my complete race report yet but the overall theme will be awesome. I finished the half exactly where I wanted to. The hardest thing was restraining myself knowing that I could have run 40 minutes faster. My eye was on the big prize, though.
The first 18 miles of the full were much better than I thought they would be when I woke up that morning. I was pretty sore and had a crotchal chaffing issue. A little body glide helped that. The last 8 miles were tough but I guess that was to be expected. I ended the marathon with a very painful blister on the ball of my foot. Because of it, I couldn't run for about the last 5 miles but I walked it in for my medals. I can't describe the feeling that I had this year do I won't try but do you remember the first time you got laid. It's in that category.
The full report will hopefully come by the end of the day.
Next years Goofy is at 65% full so I have to sign up for it tomorrow!
Thanks for checking in

Scott
