The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.

Wow this is timely. I saw the pulmonologist wednesday because my cpap was getting annoying because is seemed to be blowing so hard. I was out of the country on bussiness last week and for the first time in a couple years I actually elected not to use the machine. I had already dialed it down from 17 to 12. My original sleep study called my apnea remarkable. Anyway he told me to adjust it down to comfort. I called him on it because I have bought into the whole seriousness of sleep apnea, the need for sleep study.... He ended up sending me home with a loaner self adjusting cpap to use for a week.. When I bring it back in they will figure out what level it was using most of the time. Then we will set mine to match that level. Seems to make a lot of sense during the rapid weight loss phase rather than another sleep study. They called it a sleep study without the sleep study. Hopefully when I am done I wont need the damn thing at all. Just my two cents. Jon
