Where will I stableize??
Guys I'm nearing nine months out and feel good- not really I feel great!! With that said I'm six foot tall and now weigh around 210. When I started in April I was 346. I have very little skin problems in the waist, but no Six Pack either. I've been a Big Guy all my life and am having a small problem with the idea of being a Small Guy. That sounds like a crazy thought doesn't it. For you guys that have been out longer in the two or three year range where do you think I'll end up?? My surgeon at my 6 month visit said 20/30 pounds above ideal. My ideal weight is around 165 plus 20/30 185/195. Please give me some feed back.
I think you'll end up at a geeky 145. You'll look awkward and everyone will point and laugh at you.
Honestly, I have no idea where you'll end up. That is entirely up to you. If you think you are getting too small and want to slow down, put in extra calories. I would add 2-3 protein shakes to your regular meal schedule in the 300-400 calorie per shake range.
Good luck.

i went way below weight but that's a whole different story. i just stabilized at around 150 and stayed there for a year. then when i stopped pain meds i gained 10 pounds. so now i'm around 160 give or take. the amount of protein and water you carry will make a difference. i mean muscle. muscle is going to weigh more than fat so check out your fat%. since i lift i don't care too much about the scale an haven't stepped on one in a while. it's all about inches for me now. that's a better indicator for me since like i said, i lift. if you lift too then the scale is going to do all kinds of weird stuff to your head. you won't be all that stabilzed (am i spelling this right?) but should hover around a weight. that's how it works for me. i can fit into my pants with a 10 pound difference upwards. so that's the guage i use...carbonblob
