The Miracle of No weight Gain!
Hey Guys,
Just got back from three weeks in the states, where (in my family, anyway) eating and watching TV are hobbies.
Given, I had about 45 days straight without missing a workout. I take stretch bands and balance board with me wherever I go, but I still think it's a miracle that two years out, I can go off my diet, eating nuts and ice cream every day and not gain an ounce.
Lovin' this miracle!

The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking....... If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog.
i agree with jfish, your metabolism. i know i can stuff my face and not gain weight unless i'm eating high calorie crap. it's true, we've been wired differently now plus all that muscle you have is burning calories in idle mode. this is an amazing surgery. all i know is between the lifting and running i'm able to maintain and not because of the workouts. it's because my resting metabolic rate is so high. i carry less fat than i ever have and it's a big help staying in range of my target weight. it's creeping back but i'm working on that. so keep up the good work......carbonblob
Hey Guys,
Great hearing from you all. Really pressed for time/ focus these days. It is weird how the weight has stabilized. Eat more stay the same weight. Eat less still stay the same weight.
My guesses:
Slow metabolism keeps weight from going down -AND-
Having half the intestinal pipe and intolerance for large concentrations of calories means food goes through unabsorbed.

Large quantities of peanut butter fudge! (not as a dump, but the following day).
