Embarassing mood swings?
I had the same thing, especially with TV shows. I knew something was wrong when I was tearing up over CSI Miami ;-) Really, it did happen, but mine was a little earlier than yours. I am 9 weeks out and it has mostly passed.

I often cry when I masturbate..... does that count as a mood swing
Seriously though, I think it's a question of sadness over loosing your ol' comfort food. Like it or not, many of us are addicted to overeating. This surgery made me go "cold turkey" on the chow. Just like a junkie when he can't get the monkey off his back.
I ended up getting panic attack episodes. For no apparent reason (it happened once during a relaxing camping trip) my body went into uncontrolled adrenal output. Imagine stepping off a cub, and having a bus screech to a halt inches from your nose.... and having that feeling last for hours through the night. The adrenalin makes you sick to your stomach, and you feel like you are going to pass out, go crazy, have a heart attack, or some combination of all three
I was more than eager to get my Doc's prescription for Zoloft filled - if you've ever had a panic attack, you will do ANYTHING to avoid another one.
My advice... get some HAPPY pills from your local quack. Hey, better living through chemistry
is my motto!

I'm going through what you're describing here RIGHT NOW! My wife is really concerned. She says I'm behaving like a woman having PMS. I am going through a weird cycling of moods that are just all over the place. I'm down about 65 lbs and am about 12 weeks out. This is quite disturbing, but I'm glad to see that I'm not alone. Thanks for posting this, it has really helped me out.
