On my Bandiversary I will post my entire weight loss journey week by week for those that are looking onto possible lap banding so you can see what my results were on a weekly basis. I actually went and bought my first new (since surgery) pair of jeans the other day.  I have been lucky to have kept most of my various sizes of clothes gained through yo-yo-ing up and down in weight over the years.  I went and picked the size of jeans I thought I needed but stopped and told myself to try one size smaller, and surprisingly, the smaller size was the size I needed!  Good surprise .

First Pre-Op Visit - Late August - 456lbs Second Pre-Op Visit - Oct. 31, 2007 - 455lbs Day of Surgery - Nov. 26, 2007 - 442lbs First Post-Op Visit - Dec. 6, 2007 - 426lbs Dec 21, 2007 - 400+?? - I don't really know exactly as the scale I used at my PCP's office wouldn't go over 400lbs. Having a scale blink "overcap" at you is a little distressing. Jan 6, 2008 - 386lbs - But it was on PCP's scale and I don't know how it correlates to the scale at my bariatric surgeon's office. I'm flying  to Dallas Tuesday for my one month post-op check up (even though it's been 7 wks) and I'll get a true weight then. I'm gonna weigh on my PCP's scale prior to leaving town so I can compare the two results and account for  the difference if any.  I probably won't check in here weekly. Prior dieting experience has taught me that checking the scale too often while losing makes me all nuerotic and **** My plan is to weigh and measure twice a month from this point on out.  I'm ready to move down a pant size. I've gone from wearing 54 extra tights to 54 comfys. I have some 52s that would probably fit pretty well but I need to sew the buttons back on them. That's how I guaged when it was time to buy bigger pants back during my old life, by when the buttons started popping off. Those days are over. I've moved from 5XLT shirts into some of my 4XLT's, but I'm still wearing all of the 5XLT's also. Looks like the toolshed is gonna be the last thing to go.

You're about 2 months ahead of me. I'll be freaked if I've lost 128 by 2 months from now. Congratulations on your success and keep up the good work. Where are you located as far as exercise is concerned as of right now? I'd like to use you as a benchmark to guide me towards the type of success you're earning.
